HBO's True Detective (Season 2 - Episode 2) - Gunpla Cameo on the Show!

Are you a fan of HBO's Treu Detective?  The first season was crazy awesome.  HBO is currently airing the 2nd season, and during a scene in episode 2, Detective Ray Velcoro (Colin Farrell) was carrying a gift, which was the HG 1/144 Jagd Doga model kit from the Char's Counterattack movie. Is interesting how this kit got on the show... could Colin Farrell be a Gundam fan?

    I think the director of the episode is the gundam fan :) Or Bandai paid to advertise gunpla
