  1. Most of them are quite awful, except for the last one with nice idea of zimmerit coating on a zeon suit.

  2. Wow, these are so shitty... was this done by kids in the open category?

    1. Did you even entered the contest? I was in it and these guys put in hard work into their models. Styrderprime won the competition. Funny how people can be bold online and talk trash.

  4. I like the battled Zaku with bullet holes, or that Zeta + Zeta head amuro ver. They are clearly better than the judge's picks.

    1. Zaku has seam lines and nub marks. Zeta had seam lines all over the place. Clearly you have no fucking idea what you're talking about.

    2. I don't see any seamlines or nub marks. Care to point them out?

The Zeta is a RG kit btw

    3. I see seamlines on the Zaku's shield, shoulder armor, and arms. I know the lines are part of the design but it is possible to make it look like a single solid piece while keeping the natural designs on the side. The shield looks really bad from behind since it looks like it has a badly cut hole of simply having that design.

And yes, I can't see the seam lines on the Zeta. I am also curious about them

  6. I must agree that majority of these are badly painted and needs improvement on the basics of scale model building because aside from bad paint jobs, there are a lot of visible seam lines and nub marks on some kits. I must say, that the asian modelers are far ahead and will easily beat the kits displayed in NY. Just sayin'.

  7. The a1 looks decent enough except it lacks panel lines, the doga has a few visible seam lines and lint/dust on the paint but otherwise looks ok.
