  1. I like the concept of the System Weapon series but come on, do you still think gattling guns and claws is effective in the era?

Bandai should make packs for Hyper Mega Cannons, Hyper Mega Launcher, Beam Smart Gun, Long Range Beam Rifles, Booster Shields and the likes instead...

    2. of course artillery based weaponry and melee weapon will still work.
not everything is weak to beam weaponry.

    3. Heat claws are about as effective as any other high end heat weapon and combining a vibro weapon with heat claws is extremely effective as you can see in the Banshee. Normal gatlings and vulcans are used as secondary weapons on many MS when mounted on their chassis and large beam gatlings are extremely effective against lightly armoured opponents as seen in Unicorn.
Hyper beam weapons are extremely expensive, take large amounts of energy to fire and require a healthy startup time to fire as seen in several series. Just making weapons with higher firepower is no guarantee of victory.

    4. In what era? The Gouf custom had a gatling gun and they still used gatling guns in Victory-era, provided, those gatling guns seemed to be super-powered since IIRC they were able to literally mow down entire portions of a forest with a sweep

    5. @First anon:
Cause they're not done with the OYW weapons yet.

Also, it's still cool to see Jestas and other new MS with older MSV weapons

    6. I think you're missing the point. What you have in mind is a "UC Weapons Pack" when this is intended for modelers. Sure UC kits are advertised with these but in reality you're supposed to attach these to whatever you think they would look good with.

  5. Seeing that Giant Gatling kinda makes me wish Bandai would make new versions of Gundams G04 and G05 in kit form. The G05 was my very first Master Grade kit, and as it is an older style MG, it has not held up very well. I know they are never going to make new MG versions, since they have been left almost completely out of the spotlight since the MG G04 & G05 and Encounters in Space were released in 2002, and HGUCs, while a bit more likely, would still be kind of a long shot at this point. They are still very appealing designs, and any sort of update would work for me.
